Our mission
We are called to serve individuals and families who are impacted by foster care in Westmoreland County, ensuring they feel seen, known, and loved.
“He sets the lonely in families.”
Psalm 68:6
Two ways we care.
Families need people around them, and kids need something of their own. Family First does both.
Care Community
Foster, adoptive, and vulnerable families don’t have to do it alone. A Care Community surrounds your family with people who show up.
- Practical and relational support, tailored to each family’s needs
- Meals, childcare or transportation when possible, encouragement, prayer, and a listening ear
- Open to families who need support and people who want to help
Three ways to help.
Give an afternoon, fill a bag, or fund the work. Every kind of help is useful.
Questions, answered.

One next step can mean a lot.
Join a Care Community, volunteer, shop the wishlist, or give. Pick what fits and we’ll help with the rest.
